Let me congratulate Rory on his magnificent win in BMW PGA Championship. Also a mighty midlands congrats to Shane Lowry on finishing second. What a birdie for Shane after that horrible double bogey, and how about the 200 grand birdie on 18.
Rory seems to defy logic. He has proven this from time to time. But this one must rank up there with his unpredictability. Sergio Garcia last week stated that breaking up with someone you love, for whatever reason , takes weeks if not months to overcome in terms of getting the head right for golf. We all know that if there is something going on in your head or your life, golf will suffer. You cannot carry baggage onto the golf course and hope to consistently perform well. Even me , a 21 handicapper realises that. Rory seems to have shed his baggage when he announced his split.
